Scholarships

 

 

Mt. Hira College offers Scholarships to provide financial assistance to outstanding students and their families. A scholarship may be offered for full or part remission of tuition fees, and we determine the number of scholarships handed out annually. Some scholarships are offered to provide opportunities for children who otherwise would not be able to attend the College. Therefore, some scholarships are reserved for families with modest incomes. Selection criteria may vary according to the scholarship and can include the following:

 

• An examination in English and Maths;

• An interview with the College Principal;

• Previous school reports;

• References.

 

Parents and students are reminded that unsatisfactory grades, school work or behaviour may lead to a review of the scholarship.

 

We ask that students who wish to apply to sit a scholarship exam for studies at Mt Hira College contact our Administration at 9709 0100, or send an email to admin@mthira.vic.edu.au

 

After we make contact with you we will then send you an information kit with regard to Mt. Hira Scholarships.

 

Students at any school, including those already enrolled at Mt. Hira, are invited to apply for a scholarship.
